It was such a strange series of events when Rio, a wet look aficionado friend of mine; popped over on a hot day as I had told her I had a cute pink long gown and pink fluffy coat that would look great on her and that I didn’t need it for myself. It was a gift from someone I knew and the dress just didn’t look that great on me! Well, she came over and we had some girl talk and she then tried on the outfit and walked around near the pool. It was a warm day and she looked amazing in the dress, I thought. She agreed!
She also wanted to show me a ring she had just received from someone she was dating! It was exciting and she was telling me the whole story of how he asked to be exclusive and “go steady” and how much she liked him and how he helped her so much. As she showed me the ring and was kind of showing off a little, which was her style, she was near the pool and with her long blue nails being so long the ring slipped out of her hands and the ring fell into the pool. She was so mortified because we thought it might go down the drain! She was really upset!
She immediately went to the fence and got the pool basket which was secured on a pole in the hopes of scooping up the ring as she saw it at the bottom of the pool. I was concerned she could just fall in. She fished for the ring with the pole and lost her footing and she just fell in, outfit, heels and all. She did! I had been taking some videos of her just for fun when it happened and I got it all on video which is on this website.
In this video you will see her all glistening with the pink gown just hugging her amazing, gymnast body and there is underwater footage that I was able to get as well as her pulling herself out of the pool, up the edge in the deep end which takes a lot of strength for those of you who swim will recall!
